da blaze casino: Everton supporters have been in fine voice in recent times after seeing their side pick up a credible draw in their most recent Premier League encounter.
da casino: Marco Silva’s men went into their clash with unbeaten Chelsea at Stamford Bridge off the back of beating Brighton 3-1 in their previous league meeting, and thus were full of confidence ahead of their trip to West London. And the Toffees made the journey back to Merseyside with a hard-earned and deserved point following a 0-0 draw with Maurizio Sarri’s team, a result which keeps Silva’s side in ninth place in the Premier League table.
As such, there have been many satisfied Evertonians up and down the country in recent times, several of whom have taken to Twitter recently to heap praise on Richarlison after he netted again for Brazil in their 1-0 friendly win over Cameroon on Tuesday.
And many of those supporters were in disbelief at just how meteoric the 21-year-old’s rise has been in the last year or so, with manager Silva the man to thank for not only unearthing a gem at Watford, but backing him to produce the goods by signing him at Everton.
Ultimately, it was the 41-year-old who brought the unknown Richarlison to English football when in charge at Vicarage Road last year, and with it came a player full of ability and potential just waiting to show the Premier League what he could do.
And what a start he made to life in English football’s top-flight in netting five goals and five assists in his first 17 Premier League appearances for the Hornets, which itself unsurprisingly promoted speculation about a big-money move – this all after just a few months at Watford.
Yes, things tailed off somewhat for the Brazilian given he then failed to score or even register an assist again for the Hornets, but it’s no coincidence that all his best football at Watford came under Silva, the man who then backed him greatly by luring him to Everton for a staggering amount of money.
There were a few eyebrows raised when the Toffees splashed out £50 million on the 21-year-old given his quiet second half of last season, but Silva obviously knew how he could get the best out of Richarlison to thus make it a worthwhile and shrewd addition – and he’s once again produced the goods.
And that’s because the Brazilian star, who has won his first senior caps for his country this season, has been absolutely magnificent in scoring six goals and laying on one assist in ten Premier League games for the Toffees – be it out wide or upfront in the main striker’s role, Richarlison has excelled.
Obviously, the big question is whether or not he can maintain this form and not drift away like he did last term, but with Silva clearly the man who knows how to get the best out of him, that doesn’t appear likely to happen.
Thus, while Richarlison himself obviously deserves huge credit for developing into the star that he has been during his time in English football, Silva has played as big a part as anyone in enabling him to become the player he is, and potentially go on to be the player that his potential suggests he can be.
The amazement of those Everton fans is hardly surprising, Richarlison’s rise has been meteoric, and there is one man in particular to thank for that, namely Toffees chief Silva.
