Kane made his breakthrough for the club at the end of the 2013/14 campaign with three goals in 10 top flight appearances, and he has never looked back with a current tally of 134 goals in 201 games for Spurs.
Tottenham supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on the quotes from Villas-Boas, and while one said “I liked the man before this comments”, another said “what a muppet”.
