da heads bet: Mesut Ozil has found himself at the centre of attention in the British media over the last few days, following a rather anonymous display in a 2-0 win over Hull City in the Premier League on Saturday.
da leao: Indeed, The Daily Mail claim a number of Gunners team-mates are concerned Arsene Wenger has been too soft on the German No.10, resulting in a complacent run of form – he’s contributed just two assists and no goals since mid-December – whilst The Telegraph have gone one step further, alleging he could be dropped for Arsenal’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.

On the surface, it seems unlikely. After all, with their Premier League title bid already over, the two-leg meeting with the German champions will largely define Arsenal’s season, so most would expect the club’s record signing – and arguably most talented player – to be at the heart of the action.
Yet, the Gunners will need to produce a resolute performance if they’re to claim a result at the Allianz Arena that gives them a solid basis for the second leg, and for all of Ozil’s undoubted talents, defensive contribution isn’t one of them.
With that in mind, we’re keen to hear the opinions of the Arsenal fan base. So, Gunners supporters, should Ozil be dropped for Wednesday’s huge clash?
