In a photograph shared on Instagram by Gene Gallagher, son of Liam Gallagher, Guardiola can be seen raising a drink with a beaming smile. Dressed casually in a throwback Manchester City kit and denim shorts, Pep embraced the laid-back spirit of the evening. Also in the frame were Noel Gallagher’s daughter Anais and Liam’s two sons, Gene and Lennon. Gene shared the picture on his Instagram and wrote: "Pic of the century alright now everyone els f*ck off."

The bond between the Gallaghers and City predates Pep’s reign, but the relationship has only grown stronger in recent years. Noel, a lifelong City supporter, has been a regular presence at club events. In one of their more memorable collaborations, Noel and Pep recreated the iconic album cover in the living room of a Didsbury home further sealing their creative friendship. More recently, when Oasis opened their reunion tour in Cardiff on July 4, a cut-out of Guardiola made a cheeky appearance on stage behind the band.

The reunion concert marked the band's first Manchester performance in over 15 years, with 80,000 attendees packed into the park under sweltering sunshine as temperatures reached a scorching 30°C. Following the Heaton Park show, Oasis are scheduled for three more performances in their hometown this month, with additional gigs lined up on July 12, 19, and 20.

While the City manager enjoyed a moment of respite with the Gallagher family, his attention will soon shift back to business. City are gearing up for another demanding Premier League campaign, kicking off their title bid against Wolverhampton Wanderers on August 16 at Molineux.
